We have collected many textiles on trips to Borneo, Nagaland, Myanmar, and Peru. We are very pleased to represent artist and textile authority Edric Ong who facilitates Iban "Woven Dream" weavers' pua kumba crafted at the Rumah Garie Longhouse in remote Sarawak and designs contempory fashion textiles based on traditional motifs and crafting techniques. We also represent Indian artists and designers Bina Rao, who specialize in a large variety of handwoven and block printed silks and Abdul Jabbar Khatri who has adapted the ancient bandhani tie and dye techniques for modern fashion wear

All of the textile artists we represent support our JA&F mission to "keep the traditions alive" by using natural materials and dyes and providing employment to local village artisans .
