Some old beads obtained from Nelson Tan in Kuching. The bead on the right, a very small Lukat Sekala-type bead is used to place over the eye of the deceased at burial. A true Lukat Sekala is extremely rare and worth at least $5000 if you could find one. The second from right with dragged feather decoration is a highly prized lukat bead in Sarawak.
