| This is the most prized bead of the Borneo Indigenous people. Value $4,000, if you can find anyone to sell you one. Its origin is unknown, but perhaps early Islamic or Viking. It is said to have had the value of a slave or to ransom a hostage. These beads are male or female. This one is a female. David got this one from Kelvin Teo in Kuching. |
